AYURVEDA AND TREATMENT |
|

Ayurveda is the science of life and its principles are
universally applicable to each individual's daily life.
It encompasses every element and facet of husman life and
considers man as an inseparable part of the universe,
emanating from it and sustaining on it. Hence man has to
properly understand the nature and its relationship with him.
Ayurveda believes that the primary cause of all diseases
is embedded in the mind. It considers that mental and
physical diseases are not separate entities. Mind and
body are two seats of disease and all mental diseases affect
the body and vice versa. Also, Ayurveda views health and
disease in holistic terms considering the inherent
relationship between the individual and the cosmic
consciousness. Ayurveda is designed to promote long
healthy life, attaining happiness and creative growth.

At Ayurniketan, Ayurveda is practiced in its pristine purity
and authenticity, imbibing the depth and spirit of its rich
philosophy. The diagnosis is made on the basis of dosha-kopa
and treatments are prescribed considering the constitution and
predilection of each individual. Panchakarma

process ) and swedakriya ( such as Sirodhara, Kaya Sekam,
Pindaswedam, swedanam, etc.) are carried out without making
